Burnhamthorpe /427 Community Centre is located at Unit No: 32 of 609 the east Mall.
It is a forum for agencies serving the community as well as the community leaders to sit together and plan for the programs to meet the needs of the community.

Children’s After-School Program

The Children’s After-School Program is a purposefully created opportunity for children 6-12 years of age. The program is designed to improve academic performance, develop leadership skill and improve social behaviour. Homework support, group work, activities, games, trips and celebrations increase children’s overall confidence in themselves.

When: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
from 4:00pm -5:30 pm

Seniors Arts and Crafts Program

This program provides an opportunity for seniors to come together and work with their hands to produce the craft or art items they like. The program provides all supplies for the workshop and training.

Grace Channer, the visual artist, facilitates the sessions
