Rexdale
CHC Volunteer Program
Welcome
Thank
you for choosing Rexdale Community Health Centre (the “Centre”)
as the place where you will be donating your valuable volunteer
time. Everyone at the Centre extends a warm welcome and hopes
your experience here will be an enjoyable one.
Volunteers are valuable members of the Centre’s
team, and the work they do is invaluable to the organization.
Volunteers play a role in several different ways at the Centre.
Volunteers are involved in the governance of the Centre in the
capacity of a Board of Directors or they can be involved in the
operational side of the organization as clerical assistants or
gardeners.
The
diversity of North Etobicoke residents is one of the many strengths
of this community. To this end, individuals who reflect this diversity
are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the volunteer
program at Rexdale Community Health Centre. We appreciate and
welcome the different experiences, perspectives and knowledge
our volunteers bring to the Centre.
The Centre is committed to volunteerism and will
continue to address barriers that may prevent an individual from
donating their time and talents.
