Counselling and Therapy Services in Rexdale
We offer counselling and therapy services for people living in Rexdale and nearby communities. Our goal is simple: to make mental health support easier to access, respectful, and helpful in real life.
We understand that many people in our community are newcomers, immigrants, or come from communities that have not always had fair access to care. Our team works to remove barriers and create a space where you feel understood, respected, and supported.
You can come to us for many reasons, including stress, relationships, parenting, depression, anxiety, job loss, separation, divorce, new relationships, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, grief, bereavement, life transitions, and other challenges. We will listen, support you, and help you find ways to move forward.
We provide integrated case management designed to streamline access to essential social services. Our services are professional, confidential, and linguistically accessible for individuals and families in North Etobicoke.
Therapy and Case Management Support for All Ages
We support children, youth, adults, and seniors. Everyone’s situation is different, so we adjust our approach to fit your needs, age, culture, and comfort level.
For younger children, support may include play and activities. For youth and adults, therapy may focus on conversation, coping skills, problem-solving, and emotional support. For older adults, we can also support life changes, health concerns, caregiving stress, grief, and connection to services.
Pediatric Therapy and Case Management, Ages 0–29
We provide therapy and case management for children, youth, and young adults from birth to age 29. This means we look at the whole picture, including family, school, health, emotional wellness, and community needs.
We are committed to supporting Black youth and all youth in a way that respects identity, lived experience, and culture. We help families understand and access services such as school supports, health care, community programs, and other resources.
Social Workers in Our Inter-Professional Care Team
Our social workers are part of a larger care team that works together to support you. They understand mental health and the systems people often need to navigate, such as housing, income support, schools, health care, and community services.
If you are unsure where to go or what help is available, our social workers can guide you step by step and help connect you with the right supports.
What is Therapy?
Therapy is a space where you can talk openly about what is going on in your life. It is a conversation with a trained professional who listens without judgment and helps you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
People come to therapy for many reasons. You might feel stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, or not like yourself. You might want support with relationships, family, parenting, life changes, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, or past experiences.
Therapy is like having someone in your corner: someone who helps you slow things down, understand what is happening, and find steps that feel right for you.
What is Case Management?
Case management is practical support to help you find and connect with services you may need in your day-to-day life.
This may include support with housing, health care, income or financial supports, school services, community programs, forms, referrals, phone calls, and coordinating with other services.
Case management helps make systems feel less confusing and helps you get connected to the right resources for your situation.
